The HSRW Submarine Team is a student-run engineering group at Hochschule Rhein-Waal, building a human-powered submarine from the ground up. After a previous team built a working craft and the project paused for several years, a new generation of students is restarting the mission — carrying forward the original ambition with fresh energy, updated engineering, and a renewed drive to compete.

A previous generation of HSRW students designed and built a working human-powered submarine — a serious engineering achievement that laid the foundation for everything we're doing now. After that team graduated, the project went quiet for several years.
A new team has come together to pick the project back up — rebuilding the group, refreshing the engineering, and preparing to get back in the water. We're starting from what came before and pushing it further.
